Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using MIAO on-line international store operated by MIAO AS.

Seller: The seller is hereinafter referred to as “MIAO AS”, “we” or “us”. Buyer: The buyer is stated as making the order, and is hereinafter referred to as buyer/ the buyer, “customer”, “you”, “your” or “yours”. 

Before purchasing a product/products from MIAO on-line store you must have read, understood and agreed to our terms and conditions. We recommend reading them carefully. If you have any questions about the terms and conditions, please reach out to us at before making your purchase. 

2.Information provided in the on-line store 

Images we use in the on-line store are illustrative and there may be deviations from the actual appearance of the product. 

We strive to provide our customers with accurate information about our products, but we nevertheless make the reservation that typing / printing errors may occur in such a way that we cannot deliver according to information provided in our on-line store, our marketing or otherwise. 

Terms of purchase may change. We recommend reading the terms of purchase each time you shop. 

3. Prices, fees and VAT 

Purchases made outside of Norway 

The prices stated on the website apply to orders placed on the website. All prices are presented in EURO (€), and we have set up some currencies, for example, USD/UK/DK/SE, so that you can check the price in your own currency. Please note that your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, over which we have no control, as they are levied by your tax and customs office. Where applicable, you may be given the choice to pay import duties and taxes in advance at checkout. As the customer and importer of the goods, you will be responsible for these charges. Import duties or tax costs not paid for in advance will be invoiced to you directly from the appointed forwarder. MIAO is not responsible for any delays on goods that have been held back as a result of procedures carried out by your local customs authorities. Please see the shipping guide for current delivery costs and delivery dates. 

We reserve the right to price changes and price errors on our products.
In the case of offers and promotions, these will apply as long as the inventory is sufficient and the time period is informed in the marketing. 

We reserve the right to make errors in the details of our inventory. If the goods you have ordered are not in stock at the moment, we will contact you to clarify whether you would like to receive the goods in your order we have in stock or have all / parts of the order canceled and payment refunded. 

Discount codes cannot be applied to already discounted items; they only apply to regular prices. If we suspect any misuse of discount codes, we reserve the right to deactivate these and reject any sale. You can only use one discount code per order. 

If an offer requires the purchase of other goods, such as 2 for 1, returning parts of the order may result in you being charged for the regular price. 


With us you can choose from the following payment methods:

5.Delivery methods 

All International Orders ship by DHL EXPRESS or UPS. The shipping cost will be covered by MIAO if your purchase is more than 1000 EURO. Otherwise, shipping cost will be added to your order.  The shipping rates depend on your region and can be reviewed at checkout before placing your order. Please be noticed that payment of additional duties and taxes may be required before your order is released from customs, depending on the delivery address. 

6. Delivery and delay 

It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the address provided when ordering is correct. 

We aim to ship goods within the day after the order has been placed. We follow UPS/DHL express delivery times, usually 2-5 business days for most regions. This will depend on the time of day the order is made and whether the goods are in stock. The customer will be notified when the goods have been dispatched There may be periods of longer delivery time in connection to holiday planning, completion of new collections, etc., but this will then be announced on our website. During special periods as mentioned above, or during periods of high demand at DHL Express/UPS, we make reservations about delays. 

.If your order has not been delivered within 2 weeks after the order has been placed, you as a customer have the right to cancel the purchase at no charge.
4 weeks after ordering, your order will be considered delivered. It is the customer’s responsibility to notify within 4 weeks if the order is not received.
The responsibility for the item passes to the buyer when it, or its representative, has been delivered in accordance with item 6. The seller is responsible for the goods until it is delivered to the buyer. In case of return, it is the responsibility of the customer to return the package to us undamaged. We recommend the use of tracking  when returning products if you want full control of the shipment. 

7.Examination of the products 

When you receive the product, we recommend that you immediately check whether it complies with your order, whether it has been damaged during shipment or if it is otherwise defective. If the product does not match your order, or has any defects, please notify us as soon as possible. We emphasize that if the product has been used or washed before being examined, you will not be able to use the right of withdrawal. 

8.Right of withdrawal (download right of withdrawal) 

With us, all customers have the unconditional right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the product, given that the products have not been tested or used beyond what can be considered a reasonable manner (see conditions for unused items and exchange below) . If the 14th day ends on a Saturday, public holiday or public holiday, it is extended to the next business day . The package should then be sent to us within 14 days. If you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us within 14 days of receiving the product. If the conditions for the use of the right of withdrawal are not fulfilled, the goods are returned to the customer with a shipping fee, and the shipping rates depends on your post address. 

On exchange / return, you must fill out the withdrawal form. This is sent as a link in the order confirmation or you can download it on our website. The withdrawal form must either be delivered with the returned package, or it can be sent by e-mail to: 

We strive to handle exchange / return cases as soon as possible, and at the latest within 3 weeks. During special periods, such as Christmas Eve and holiday break, it may take a little longer. You will then get information on this. 

Unused items 

The Buyer may, in accordance with the Norwegian Consumer Purchase Act, try or test the goods in a reasonable manner. In order to receive a full refund on the return of the item, it is assumed that it will be returned in the original original packaging and is in the same condition as when it was received by the customer. 

For example, the use and washing of products will be considered as testing beyond what is reasonable, and we reserve the right to reject a claim for reimbursement. This also applies to smells and marks on the products, or that it is returned without / with damaged original packaging. 


In exchange, the same requirements apply as for the use of the right of withdrawal / unused goods. The item should be returned in the same condition as you received it and in the original packaging. 

If the requirements for the use of the right of withdrawal / exchange are not met, we will return the products to the customer and a shipping fee will be incurred. 

In case of return, it is the responsibility of the customer to return the package to us. We recommend the use of tracking on the return if you want full control of the shipment. 


Complaint in case of defect in the goods and the deadline for filing claims (Fill out the Complaints screen) 

We follow the Norwegian Consumer Purchase Act. This means that if a product, or several products, that you have ordered from us has errors or omissions, you can either demand a new delivery, price reduction or cancellation of the purchase. 

It may be that we have to take the item in for closer inspection. If there is a defect / defects in the goods, any outlay for shipping by the customer will be refunded. If the requirement for a complaint is not met, the customer will be offered to have the item returned. If the customer disagrees with our decision, see section 15. Conflict resolution in the terms of purchase. 

If the item has been exposed to improper use or washing, it has been used abnormally, or it has been used for purposes other than its intended use, the 2-year warranty will lapse. 

If we have sent you the wrong item, you must let us know within 14 days of it being received. We will then send you the correct item free of charge and cover return shipping costs for what has been shipped. We reserve the right that the item may be sold out, in which case we will refund your payment. 

Order number or e-mail confirmation of order is satisfactory documentation that the item has been purchased from us and must be informed about / presented in case of any complaint. Complaints form is filled out digitally on our website by following the link: Complaints form

10.Seller’s rights in the event of Buyer’s default 

If the buyer fails to pay or fulfill the other obligations under the agreement and this is not due to the seller or circumstances on the part of the seller, the seller may, according to the rules in the Norwegian Consumer Purchase Act Chapter 9 withhold the goods, demand fulfillment of the agreement, demand the agreement terminated and compensation from buyer. The seller may also, according to the circumstances, be able to claim interest on late payment, collection fees and fees for non-prepaid uncollected goods. 

Fulfillment: If the buyer does not pay, the seller can maintain the purchase and demand that the buyer pay the purchase price (fulfillment). If the item is not delivered, the seller loses his right if he waits unreasonably long to promote the claim. 

Withdrawal: The seller may terminate the agreement if there is a material payment default or other material breach by the buyer. However, the seller cannot withdraw if the entire purchase price is paid. If the seller determines a reasonable additional deadline for fulfillment and the buyer does not pay within this deadline, the seller may cancel the purchase. 

Compensation: In case of breach of contract by the buyer, the seller may claim compensation from the buyer for financial loss he or she suffers as a result of cf. Section 46 of the Norwegian Consumer Purchase Act. 

Interest on late payment / collection fee: If the buyer does not pay the purchase price in accordance with the agreement, the seller may claim interest on the purchase price according to the delay interest law. In the event of non-payment, the claim may be sent to debt collection upon prior notice. The buyer can then be held liable for fees under the Norwegian Debt Collection Act. 

Fee for uncollected goods: If the buyer fails to collect ordered goods, MIAO will charge the buyer with a fee of NOK 300. This fee covers return and shipping costs. The fee shall cover at most the seller’s actual outlay to deliver the item to the buyer. Such a fee cannot be charged to buyers under 18 years of age. 


Guarantee provided by the seller gives the buyer rights in addition to those the buyer already has under mandatory law. A guarantee therefore does not impose any restrictions on the buyer’s right to complaint and claims in the event of delays or defects in accordance with paragraphs 6 and 8 in this terms and conditions. 

12.Personal Information 

Customer information is only recorded in connection with sales. The information you give will be treated confidentially and no infomation is sold or otherwise forwarded to a third party. If you register as a newsletter recipient in the shopping process, only your name and email address you provide will be used for this purpose. MIAO AS does not store credit card information. 

13. Age 

Everyone who trades at MIAO AS must be 15 years of age or older. For payment by invoice or partial payment, you must be 18 years of age or older. See also the current rules at our payment service providers Vipps and Klarna. 

14.Agreement entered into 

The agreement is binding on both parties once the buyer has sent their order to the seller. By ordering, the buyer has accepted MIAO AS’s terms of purchase. 

However, the agreement is not binding if there is a typo or typo error in the offer from the seller in the order solution in the online store or in the buyer’s order, and the other party realized or should have realized that there was such a mistake. 

15.Conflict Resolution 

Complaints are addressed to the seller within a reasonable time, cf. paragraphs 6, 7, 8 and 9 I terms and conditions. The parties shall endeavor to resolve any disputes in amicable terms. If this fails, the buyer can contact the Norwegian Consumer Council for mediatio
